Vonn wins downhill in Zauchensee, Austrians disappoint, Egger falls


Altenmarkt-Zauchensee – Lindsey Vonn won the downhill in Zauchensee on Saturday, recording her second win of the season after the first of two downhills in St. Moritz and thus achieved a World Cup victory for the 84th time. The 41-year-old American won the downhill run, which was shortened due to heavy snowfall, in 1:06.24 minutes ahead of the Norwegian Kajsa Vickhoff Lie (+0.37) and the American Jacqueline Wiles (0.48).
