A youth criminal group dismantled in Madrid for violent robberies and threats | Madrid News

The Civil Guard has reported this Sunday of the dismantling of an organized group formed by the alliance of three components – Trinitarios, Blood and Fortytwo – that acted in the municipality of Collado Villalba (67,274 inhabitants, in the northwest of the Community of Madrid) and to which crimes of threats, injuries, robberies with violence, extortion and membership in a criminal organization are attributed. There are 17 people investigated and detained, including several minors, for crimes of threats, injuries, robberies with violence, extortion and membership in a criminal organization, as reported by the armed institute in a statement.

In the operation there are six minors detained and eleven under investigation and several machetes, knives and clothing identifying these youth groups have been seized. According to the investigation, they formed a single block that operated in that Madrid town and had reactivated their activity after the release of one of the minors from a detention center.

During the last months of last year, researchers detected an uptick in violent attacks committed in the northwest of the region. It was found that violent youth groups were behind these attacks and those responsible could be identified, explains the Civil Guard.

The operation has put an end to the confrontation between the violent youth groups of the Latin Kings and that alliance led by the Trinitarios. They had planned actions of revenge and aggression between rivals and a stabbing occurred in a confrontation.

All those arrested and investigated have been brought to justice. The minors were presented to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, which ordered the imprisonment of four of them.
