According to information provided by the PM, the garrison carried out ostentatious and preventive patrols in the Second District region, after receiving data about recent clashes between criminal organizations in the neighborhood. During the action, the police were called by residents of the region, who reported that criminals had expelled the residents from a house, stolen all the property from the property and then set fire to the residence.

According to reports collected anonymously, around eight individuals would have participated in the criminal action. Among the suspects, some wear electronic ankle bracelets, which shows that, despite benefiting from justice, they continue to commit violent crimes in the Second District of the capital. They are all already known to the military and would be involved in various crimes against property and life in the region.

After the robberies, the objects would have been taken to the Cidade do Povo or Belo Jardim I neighborhoods, which required intense work by the military to locate them. After further investigation, the police confirmed that the stolen products were in the Belo Jardim I neighborhood, close to Rua das Árvores.

Based on the complaints, the garrison moved to an abandoned residence located at the end of Rua Pereirinha, close to Rua das Árvores. At the scene, the police found that the property was apparently uninhabited and had one of the doors without a lock, which allowed easy access. Inside the house, several objects were found from the robbery carried out on the day of the events.

One of the victims was contacted via video call and recognized all the property as his property. As a result, the objects were seized and sent to the 3rd Regional Civil Police, where they were handed over for the appropriate legal measures and, subsequently, will be returned to their true owners.

The case remains under investigation by the Civil Police.
