Christopher Nkunku scored in the 90th minute and secured Milan’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina, this Sunday.
Despite extending their undefeated streak in the Italian Championship, the team once again lost ground in the title race, with the second draw in four days.
Milan remains in second place, with 40 points, two behind Inter Milan, who still enter the field in the round against Napoli.
Fiorentina appears in third place from the bottom of the table, with 14 points.
Pietro Comuzzo gave Fiorentina the lead in the 66th minute when he headed home a corner kick.
Milan sought equality at the end, when Nkunku, who was there, took advantage of Youssouf Fofana’s pass and finished past David De Gea.
Milan’s only one in the league came in the opening round of the season.
On Thursday, the team had already come from behind and drew 1-1 with Genoa, at home, and now has 18 consecutive games in the league.
