Mariana states that she sought care at the Emergency Room, but that the case was not treated as an emergency. According to her, only medications such as dipyrone and dexamethasone were administered, without carrying out additional tests. According to the report, even without improvement, there was no immediate referral for imaging exams or further clinical investigation.

Given the persistence of intense pain and difficulty even walking, family members decided to take her to a private hospital. At the scene, after carrying out a tomography, blood tests and ultrasound, the presence of two cysts measuring approximately 8 centimeters in the left ovary was found. According to the diagnosis, the cysts caused the ovary to twist, compromising the organ’s blood circulation.

According to Mariana, the condition required immediate surgery, with the possibility of removing the affected ovary. She reports that she remains hospitalized, receiving morphine-based medication to control the pain, which remains intense even with the use of the analgesic.

The architect reported that the family has covered a large part of the costs of private care, including exams, hospitalization, surgical center, medical fees and medicines, but that the available resources are not enough to cover all expenses. For this reason, he decided to ask friends and the population for financial help. Donations can be made via Pix, using the key number 68981224342 – Mariana Soares Saraiva.
