The US Secretary of Homeland Security once again calls the woman killed by ICE a "terrorist"

The Secretary of Homeland Security of the United States, Kristi Noem, has once again described the woman as a terrorist this Sunday by a federal anti-immigration agent in the city of Minneapolis.

“You cannot change reality just because you don’t like it. What happened in Minneapolis was an act of terrorism. Acts of terrorism like this should be condemned by all politicians and elected officials. It should not be difficult or generate controversy,” said Noem, head of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE).

One of his agents opened fire on Renee Good on January 7 when the woman was in her vehicle. He reported at the same time that Good tried to run over the agent with his car. Organizations such as Human Rights Watch claim that the videos of the incident demonstrate that Good in no way had that intention, and that the agent committed an “unjustified murder.”

Noem has stuck to the official line in her appearance this Sunday before the House cameras. CNNwhere he assured that the agent “took measures based on his training to protect himself and the public” when he opened fire on Good three times.

The Secretary of Homeland Security has accused the state and city’s Democratic leaders, Governor Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Fray, of “stoking violence” against ICE agents. “I would say it’s time for them to mature.”he has indicated.
