Councilor states that the former president’s defense will file a new request for humanitarian house arrest depending on the detainee’s general condition
The councilor used his social network profile to say that, this Sunday (11), his father, the former president, felt unwell again in prison. Carlos posted a photo of his father with his back turned and stating that he has vomiting attacks. Bolsonaro is being held in a special cell to serve a 27-year prison sentence for an attempted coup d’état.
“Dear, my father’s doctor was called to prison today, Sunday, January 11, 2026, after we were informed that his persistent bouts of hiccups had evolved into constant heartburn, which is preventing him from eating properly and sleeping,” he wrote on his social network.
According to the councilor, the father’s defense will file a new request for humanitarian house arrest due to the former president’s general situation.
“The attached photo records my father in endless bouts of vomiting, resulting from the consequences of the stab wound he suffered, carried out by a former member of PSOL, a party historically aligned with Lula’s political faction,” says Carlos.
The councilor once again criticized his father’s conviction and listed the crimes for which the former president is imprisoned.
