Actor and voice actor Pavel Trávníček (75), known to the public mainly as the iconic fairy-tale prince from Three Nuts for Cinderella, he passed one of life’s hardest tests. In recent days, he underwent a 9-hour heart operation, during which doctors performed a quadruple bypass. After the operation, he was in an artificial sleep, from which the paramedics successfully woke him up.
Trávníček was in the hospital at the turn of the year for acute bronchitis. However, according to doctors, this disease indirectly contributed to the discovery of serious heart problems that required immediate surgery. After the difficult days, the actor’s wife spoke on the social network Monika Trávníčková (40).
“Son Maxmilian is what keeps us going. On behalf of my husband, let me thank you for the many beautiful words of support, which we greatly appreciate. The end of 2025 and the beginning of the new year 2026 was very difficult for us. The husband is born again and I would like to thank you very much for saving our eternal prince Mr. Doc. MUDr. to Jaroslav Benedík, Ph.D. and his entire team and of course also prof. MUDr. To Petr Neužil, CSc., FESC,” she wrote on Facebook.
They still have a long way to go. “Thanks to everyone at Homolce Hospital who are taking care of my husband so that he can return to normal life as soon as possible. We still have a long way to go, but the husband has a great will and he greets you all very much from the ICU (intensive care unit).” added Monika Trávníčková.
