The MEC (Ministry of Education) has already made available the consultation of Sisu (Unified Selection System) 2026 vacancies, even before the official start of registrations.
From now on, students who participated in the Enem (National High School Exam) can explore the course options, institutions and competition options available. Registration for Sisu takes place from January 19th to 23rd.
Last Friday, the MEC also announced the release date of: January 16th. This information is essential for candidates, as exam scores are the main selection criteria for vacancies offered by Sisu.
To participate, the candidate must have completed high school and have obtained a grade in one of the last three editions of Enem (2025, 2024 and 2023), without having completed the essay.
The system automatically selects the edition of Enem that offers the best weighted average for each course option chosen by the student.
During the period, which lasts five days, candidates will be able to choose up to two course options, indicating their preference as 1st and 2nd option.
It is essential that students consult the specific rules of each university, such as minimum grades required and regulations for social quotas, directly in the institutions’ notices.
Affirmative Actions
Sisu also considers different types of competition, including the law of quotas and affirmative actions specific to each institution.
Monitoring the registration is an important step. From the second day of registration, the system publishes the partial classification and results daily, serving as a reference so that the candidate can adjust their choices, if necessary.
This classification is temporary and does not guarantee selection, but reflects the ranking of candidates according to the modalities, courses, locations, shifts, institutions, degrees and the number of places available.
