A motorcyclist identified only as “Tal” was the victim of a serious traffic accident and died this Sunday afternoon (11), after suffering very serious injuries, including traumatic brain injury with crushing of the head, multiple closed fractures and open fractures. The accident occurred at km 1 of the Variante road, accessed via BR-317, in the municipality of Xapuri, in the interior of Acre.

According to witnesses, “Tal” was traveling on a black Bros motorcycle towards Rio Branco/Xapuri, allegedly under the influence of alcohol and performing zigzag maneuvers along the road. At one point, the motorcyclist would not have noticed the approach of a blue cattle truck, loaded with cattle, which was heading in the opposite direction, Xapuri/Rio Branco.
During the maneuver, the motorcyclist allegedly touched the left side of the truck, lost his balance and fell onto the road, and was then run over by the cargo vehicle. The truck driver remained at the scene after the accident.

As a result of the impact, the victim suffered multiple closed and exposed fractures throughout his body, as well as severe head trauma, with exposure of the brain mass caused by one of the truck’s wheels.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and an advanced support ambulance was sent to the scene. Despite the quick arrival of the medical team, the motorcyclist was already lifeless.

Agents from the Federal Highway Police (PRF) were at the scene, isolated the area for forensic work and recorded the Traffic Accident Report (BAT). After completing the procedures, the body was removed and sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), in Rio Branco, for cadaveric examinations.
