The capture, to which Trump does not add any comments, indicates that he has been “interim president” of Venezuela since January, when he “took over” the position, after ensuring after the capture of Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, that the United States would be in charge of managing the country’s affairs after their attack, which left around one hundred dead.
