An attempted rape ended in violence this Sunday morning (11), in Água Quente, in the Federal District. A man was stabbed at a bus stop after trying to sexually assault his stepdaughter, near a motel in the region.

According to preliminary reports, the young woman managed to react, escape the attack and seek help at a police station in Água Quente, where she reported the crime. The victim’s identity was not released by authorities.
Images recorded by people who passed by the scene show the bus stop covered in blood, as well as an abandoned pair of shoes, indicating the seriousness of the incident.
The suspect was rescued and initially taken to the Municipal Hospital of Santo Antônio do Descoberto. Due to the severity of his injuries, he had to be transferred to Anápolis Hospital, where he remains hospitalized in serious condition.
The Federal District Civil Police is investigating the case to clarify the circumstances of the attempted rape and the attack that left the man injured.
