“With this letter, we return to the request we addressed to you, in a letter dated November 6, regarding the need for an immediate discussion, for purposes of public interest, of the Report of the Audit Service, dated 4/11/2025, concerning the Independent Body.
On behalf of the members of our Parliamentary Group, who participate in the Audit Committee, we request once again that the said Report be immediately brought up for discussion in the Committee, without further delay.
At the same time, we appeal to all members of the Audit Committee to support this request, recognizing its importance for transparency, accountability and the protection of the public interest.
In particular, in light of the recent revelations that have emerged through the infamous video, we believe that further impeding or postponing the discussion of the Audit Service’s Report harms the public interest and raises reasonable questions about institutional functioning and parliamentary scrutiny.
For all the above reasons, we call on you to see to it that the issue is placed IMMEDIATELY on the agenda of the Audit Committee, in the context of the Committee’s mission and its responsibilities towards society.”
