Dorota Nvotová bravely fights cancer: She published emotional pictures after the operation!

Slovak actress, singer and politician Dorota Nvotová (43) shocked fans and the general public when on Wednesday, January 7, on the social network announced that she had breast cancer. A serious diagnosis required immediate hospitalization and the very next day, on Thursday, January 8, the artist underwent a mastectomy – a procedure in which doctors removed her entire breast gland.

On Friday, January 9, she informed loyal supporters that the difficult operation was successful. “I’m alive and everything went without complications. I’m sore and weak, but that’s part of the operations,” she described her feelings just a few hours after losing one of her breasts on the social network. She also published a PHOTO from the hospital bed, which you can find in the gallery.

Nvotová admitted that although at first she was overcome by fears and questions, they were quickly replaced by deep humility. Instead of self-pity, reflect on the fact that tragedy and disease are, unfortunately, a normal part of the world and none of us are immune to them. She refuses to ask “why her” and instead reminds us that health and happiness are a precious gift, not a given. She is determined to carry her cross, as she calls this difficult journey, with faith and great determination.

Most recently, she published several images from her hospitalization, which she called snapshots from the hospital. PHOTOS can be found in the gallery. In the first photo, she captured how she dipped the sponge cake in tea. “Dipping cookies in tea is a privilege of the sick. And it doesn’t matter what is wrong with you or who is taking care of you. It was no different on the first day after the operation.” she said on Instagram on Sunday, January 11.

In the second shot, it is captured a book called The Tibetan Book of Life and Death by Sogyal Rinpoche. There was also the so-called mála – a traditional Buddhist rosary with 108 beads, which is used in Tibet and Nepal to count mantras during meditation. “Still life on the bedside table,” she commented.

The atmosphere in the room where she is currently recovering is made more pleasant by flowers and little things from loved ones. “Still life by the window. Tulips from mom and Bridge sugar from a friend with a retro twist,” she explained the appearance of the box, which is reminiscent of the last century in design. In another of the shots, she captured her personal jewelry, which is such an important part of her identity that she usually does not take it off at all. “I don’t even take them off at airports. My handmade jewelry. “Taking them off” cost me a superhuman amount of energy, cream and pain, but you can’t do surgery with trinkets,” she added. PHOTO can be found in the gallery.
