The end of 2025 was not exactly pleasant for the comedian and influencer František Košarišťan, known as Fero Joke. After one of the performances in Prague, he should have behaved inappropriately towards two men under the influence of alcohol. Matúš and Jakub decided to talk about their unpleasant experience on social networks, which attracted a lot of public attention to the case, you can read more about it here.
Taking responsibility for one’s own actions means naming mistakes without belittling or making excuses. In the talk show Trochu inak with Adela, hosted by Adela Vinczeová, Fero openly returns to the topic of alcohol. “I was so drunk I couldn’t stand on my feet.” admits.
According to him, alcohol has long been a part of public appearances. “When I was going to perform or meet people in person, every single talk show I was more drunk than sober. Unfortunately, it gave me the guts to stand up in front of people and do shit.” he speaks openly.
Today, however, he perceives this motivation critically. “I think it would have worked without him. It was just an excuse that it’s easier with alcohol, but it’s complete nonsense.” adds. At the same time, Fero recalls the period when he completely left alcohol out of his life. “I didn’t drink for five years and it was one of the best times of my life. I liked to talk about it to inspire people,” states.
According to his own words, a difficult period in his life led him to return to alcohol. “I started it because I had a hard time with health problems. I didn’t discuss it anywhere and that’s when I ran into it. It was probably not very good for my surroundings, and then it can turn out like this. I’m sorry I drank” concludes.
