O federal government launches, this Tuesday (13), the Tax Reform digital platform.
The tool was developed to allow taxpayers, tax professionals and system developers to test, simulate operations and gradually adapt to the new rules of the new taxation model, without generating financial obligations or actually collecting taxes.
In practice, the platform works as a testing environmentaimed at preparing the productive sector and the market for the implementation of the new tax system.
The launch takes place at an event that will be attended by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
On that occasion, Lula will also sanction Complementary Bill No. 108/2024, which creates the IBS Management Committee (Goods and Services Tax), the body responsible for administering the tax, and concludes one of the main stages of the Tax Reform regulation approved by the National Congress.
