Harden surpasses Shaquille O’Neal in historic NBA rankings

James Harden became the ninth highest scorer in league history NBA.

On Monday night (12), the point guard surpassed Shaquille O’Neal by scoring 32 points during the Los Angeles Clippers’ 117-109 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, in the regular season.

“The Beard” needed just 14 to surpass Shaq. Now, the player has 28,614 career points, compared to 28,596 for the legend.

The historic night was celebrated by the fans at the Intuit Dome, in Inglewood, in the greater Los Angeles region, with long applause when James Harden reached the milestone.

The ranking of top scorers is led by LeBron James, who has 42,623 points, followed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant and Wilt Chamberlain.
