Podcast

In the first episode of 2026 of Humor À Primeira Vista, Gustavo Carvalho interviews Inês Aires Pereira, actress and author of “Namastê”. After a troubled period in personal and professional life, a spiritual retreat in Brazil sparked the idea for the show, the first solo show, with a record close to stand-up comedy

We know her as an actress, she became a presenter, she emerged to make us laugh. Both in Bruno Nogueira’s direct messages during the pandemic; in the show “Nem a Ponta do Mindinho”, with Raquel Tillo; in the play “Plim”, with Salvador Martinha and João Maria; as in the participation in “Taskmaster”.

Now for the first time solo, in a format similar to stand-up comedy, Inês Aires Pereira presents “Namastê”. After a turbulent period in his personal and professional life, a spiritual retreat in Brazil sparked the idea for the show. The Coliseu in Lisbon has already sold out four times, and the Coliseu in Porto on another three occasions.

In Humor À Primeira Vista, with Gustavo Carvalho, he explains that he found a purpose through the show “Namastê” (although he doesn’t think it’s anything special), thanks Salvador Martinha for his help, praises Gabriela Barros and selects his ideal panel of contestants for a new season of “Taskmaster”.

Gustavo Carvalho interviews people for whom comedy is both a passion and a profession. Sometimes it opens the door to conversations about other cultural topics that excite him, be it theater, music, digital, television or cinema. The comedy, art and culture that are about to happen, every Tuesday on Humor At First Sight. Listen to more episodes here:
