This Monday, Intelbras () announced an update to the commercial model of cooperation with FiberHome for the GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) product line to generate alternatives for both companies to operate in the Brazilian internet provider market.
The company stated that it will maintain service to its channel and that it will continue to offer GPON solutions in its portfolio, but now both companies will be able to work with other partners to sell this family of products on the market.
“This new operating format was planned and defined in line with the strategies of both companies for operating in the Brazilian market,” said Intelbras in a statement to the market.
Cooperation between Intelbras and FiberHome remains unchanged in the Optical Cables segment, with national production at the Tubarão (SC) plant, he added.
