Telerána presenter admitted to panic attack and burnout: A fundamental step followed!

In the summer of 2024, after almost 20 years, presenters Lenka Šóošová and Roman Juraško said goodbye to their beloved Telerán. Two popular presenter pairs, Kvetka Horváthová and Tomáš Juríček and Lucia Hlaváčková and Matúš Krnčok, were joined by Marek Polomský and Simona Ondrušková. Viewers of Markíza have been waking up to them for many months, but no one had any idea what the young presenter was going through in private.

Ondrušková came out with the truth on the social network, where she made an honest recapitulation of the year 2025. She started last year with a big step. “I moved. I started living with my boyfriend,” she revealed to followers. At that time, she had three jobs, in addition to Telerán, she worked at radio Europa 2 and for an internet portal. High workload took a toll on her health.

In February, the presenter experienced her first panic attack. “I had such a panic attack that I was shaking in bed for 40 minutes. It’s not heroic at all to be at work non-stop, and I finally know that too,” she confessed. “I had unbearable anxiety. I burned out,” she stated bluntly.

After what she went through, she decided to make some big decisions. “I quit Europe 2. She started to relax and work less. Quite a bit less. I went back to therapy,” Ondrušková shared on her Instagram account. In addition, she started running again and returned to the gym. Simona also focused more on her friends and family.

In the summer, she packed her bags and went abroad to relax. “I took time off and we went to the sea. But I still only had 15 days of vacation in the whole year. That’s not enough,” she noted. Although the marquessica learned from the troubles that befell her at the beginning of the year, she did not completely take her foot off the gas. She also repeated several times in her recap that she still works a lot. However, it seems that she managed to find a balance between work duties and rest.
