All that’s missing is the money: Sturm and GAK agree on a joint stadium project

The Graz Bundesliga clubs Sturm and GAK are jointly aiming for an extensive renovation of the Liebenau Stadium. The plan calls for modernization and an increase in visitor capacity to 20,000. The clubs estimate the costs at 95 million euros, with 37.5 each coming from the city and the state. The clubs would contribute 20 million euros, explained club bosses Christian Jauk (Sturm) and Rene Ziesler (GAK). There was initially no reaction from politicians.
