The Fire Department was called this Tuesday to respond to a landslide in a residence located in Cruzeiro do Sul, in the interior of Acre. Upon arriving at the location, the garrison noted the instability of the terrain, which posed a risk to the structure of the property and the safety of residents.

Given the situation, the municipality’s Civil Defense was called and, after a technical inspection, ordered the immediate closure of the residence as a preventive measure, with the aim of preserving the integrity of the family.
After noon, firefighters returned to the address after being called again. At the site, even more intense ground movement was recorded, which worsened the situation and further compromised the structure of the property.
As the incident worsened, the Civil Defense was called again to take the necessary measures. The Fire Department also provided support in removing some belongings from the residence.

The situation was the responsibility of the Civil Defense, which will continue to monitor the case and adopt the appropriate measures, including sending the family to a safe location.
