Wellington César’s appointment will be published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) later this Tuesday.

Wellington had the support of three influential figures from around the president: the government leader in the Senate, Jaques Wagner (PT-BA), and ministers Rui Costa (Casa Civil) and Sidônio Palmeira (Social Communications).
