Former councilor Carlos Bolsonaro (PL), son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), detained at the Federal Police Superintendence, in Brasília (DF), used social media to complain that his father received ear devices so as not to hear the noise of an air conditioner installed near his living room.
According to his son “02”, Bolsonaro is exposed to this “intense” and “maddening” sound on a continuous basis and believes that the authorities should fix the noise instead of just providing a device to muffle the noise – a measure that he treated as an “irregularity”. The report seeks contact with the Federal Police.
“In view of the situation, instead of eliminating the cause of the problem, he was provided with ear protectors as a supposed measure,” wrote Carlos Bolsonaro on X (formerly Twitter).

“The fact, in itself, shows that those responsible are fully aware of this irregularity, maintaining the adverse condition and transferring the burden of bearing it to the custodian”, added the son of the former president.
Still according to Bolsonaro, in addition to the constant noise, the father is being subjected to “deprivation of rest” and a “hostile environment”, and states that no custody “authorizes humiliation”. “Urgent measures need to be adopted” stated the former president’s son.
Bolsonaro has been detained at the Federal Police Superintendency since the end of November. He was convicted by the First Panel of the STF for leading a criminal organization in an attempted coup d’état to perpetuate itself in government. The former president’s sentence is 27 years and three months in closed prison.
Jair Bolsonaro’s family and allies are repeatedly questioning the conditions of the former president’s incarceration, especially due to his health conditions.
On Monday (12), his son, former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) published a video in which he said that Bolsonaro would be subject to more restrictive conditions than those of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, imprisoned in the United States.
Last week, Bolsonaro fell inside the cell where he is serving his sentence. He was treated by doctors at the corporation and diagnosed with mild head trauma. Moraes even denied removal to the hospital shortly after the accident and only authorized the transfer the following day.

The reaction led the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) to launch an investigation into the service, later canceled by the minister, who also ordered the entity’s president to provide clarifications to the Federal Police.
This Tuesday (13), the Public Defender’s Office of the Federal District (DPDF) reported that it had initiated a procedure related to the former president’s health conditions. The opening took place after the body received letters from senator Izalci Lucas (PL-DF) and federal deputy Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO), who requested action from the Public Defender’s Office on the case.
