Pro-Venezuela acts occurred in 48 countries, says entity – 01/14/2026 – Panel

At least 48 countries registered after the beginning of January, and the concentration of acts was greater in American cities, according to a survey by the International Assembly of Peoples.

The entity presents itself as “an international space for political articulation, organization and struggle of people against imperialism, neoliberalism, colonialism and all forms of exploitation and oppression”.

According to the report, which was based on the period from January 3 to 9, there was a high concentration of acts in Europe and North America. In Germany, there was mobilization in 25 cities, while in Italy protests took place in 20. England and France registered demonstrations in ten cities each.

In Brazil, acts were observed in 11 cities. Next, the countries with the most protests were Colombia (10), Uruguay (9) and Mexico (7).

According to the assembly, 231 organizations participated in the mobilizations, including peasant movements, students, parties, popular collectives and international organizations. In the case of Brazil, there were demonstrations by the MST (Landless Rural Workers Movement), Alba Movimentos, Via Campesina Brasil, among other entities.

The survey shows that organizations carried out coordinated reposts, organic actions and digital campaigns such as “Free Maduro!, to highlight the mobilization on a global scale.
