After the departure of important players, Lazio began to concentrate its efforts on strengthening the offensive sector and has already started talks with Vasco da Gama about signing 19-year-old striker Rayan, a highlight of the last edition of the Brazilian Championship.
According to the Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, negotiations are still ongoing and, at this moment, the main divergence between the parties is over values. Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days in search of an agreement.

Lazio insists on signing Rayan
Initially, Vasco set the price at 50 million euros, but reduced the ask to 40 million. Lazio increased the proposal from 20 to 25 million euros and is willing to increase the value.
In the offer made by the Italian team, there are 20 million euros, with another 5 million expected in bonuses for goals. The young man is seen by Lazio as a strategic piece to reinforce the offensive sector.
On the Vasco side, the offer remains below expectations. The board made it clear that it does not intend to open negotiations for amounts lower than 40 million euros. Even given Vasco’s stance, Lazio does not rule out insisting on hiring and should keep conversations active in search of an alternative that brings the parties closer together.
