SLC Agrícola sets acquisition of Sierentz Agro at US$ 129 million

SLC Agrícola, one of the largest producers of soybeans, corn and cotton, announced this Tuesday (13/1) that the final value of the acquisition of Sierentz Agro Brasil was set at US$ 129 million after the conclusion of contractual adjustments.

Sierentz has operations in Maranhão, Piauí and Pará in the soy, corn and livestock.

When the transaction was announced in July 2025, the estimated price was US$135.24 million, subject to variations related to the company’s working capital and net debt, based on the balance sheet as of June 30, 2025.

With the investigation of these adjustments and the agreement between the parties, the total value of the acquisition was revised, said the material fact disclosed to the market and the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM). On July 1, 2025, SLC Agrícola paid the first installment, equivalent to 60% of the initially estimated amount, in the amount of US$81.15 million, which corresponded to R$442.34 million on the date of payment.

As the final price of the transaction was lower than the originally expected value, the company informed that the excess amount paid will be compensated in the second installment. The remaining payments are scheduled for April 2026 and April 2027.
