Twelve years in prison for attempted murder after a stabbing in Carinthia


Klagenfurt – A 22-year-old Carinthian man was sentenced to twelve years in prison on Wednesday evening before the jury at the Klagenfurt regional court for attempted murder. While drunk, the man is said to have stabbed a man his age several times with a steak knife on July 6th of the previous year in Stall (Spittal an der Drau district) and deliberately tried to kill him. The eight jurors agreed on the guilty verdict. The judgment is not final.
