Tavira Plaza will host the Associação ARA – Animal Rescue do Algarve in an initiative dedicated to promoting responsible animal adoption and fundraising, reinforcing the shopping center’s involvement in social, environmental and community outreach causes.
The action takes place on Saturday, January 17th, between 10:00 and 17:00, in the shopping center space, with the aim of “raising awareness among the population of the importance of conscious adoption, animal welfare and active involvement in projects with a positive impact on society”.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to “meet some animals available for adoption”, “obtain information about responsible adoption processes” and “contribute to fundraising that supports veterinary care, food and shelter for animals rescued by the association”.
According to Tavira, this initiative fits into its strategy of promoting ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles, assuming itself as “a space open to the community, pet friendly and available to host actions that promote social responsibility, sustainability and collective well-being”.
The shopping center is managed by Widerproperty, an entity that “has been focusing on a strategy of proximity to the local community, promoting initiatives with social, environmental and cultural impact”.
Participation in the initiative is free and open to the entire community, inviting families, visitors and animal lovers to join this charitable cause.
