Are you planning a getaway in Olhão? The Pure Formosa Concept Hotel has offers below €50

Sleeping in Olhão for less than 50 euros per night is a real possibility on certain dates, thanks to the campaigns in force at the Pure Formosa Concept Hotel, a unit located in the city center that combines contemporary accommodation with the local historical identity. The proposal appears as a starting point for a short getaway, with easy access to the main urban and natural points of interest.

Open to the public in the summer of 2021, the hotel is positioned as an urban option for those who want to explore the city on foot, benefiting from a central location and an offer designed for both leisure stays and short-term visits. During low season prices are lower and it is possible to book a stay for two people for the night from January 31st to February 1st for 47.02 euros. However, if you want breakfast to be included, be prepared to pay at least 68.62 euros.

A hotel designed to experience the city

According to the hotel, the unit was designed to combine modern comfort with the roots of Olhão, a city marked by cubist architecture and its historical connection to the sea. This duality is reflected in the common spaces and in the way the hotel integrates into the surrounding urban fabric.

One of the main differentiating elements is the rooftop, described as unique in the region, with a 360-degree view over the city center, the traditional terraces, the barrier islands and the natural landscape of the Ria Formosa. The elevated space is not limited to panoramic views, it also includes a swimming pool and a bar, designed for moments of pause and relaxation throughout the day or late afternoon.

The rooftop serves as a privileged observation point over Olhão, allowing guests a clear visual reading of the relationship between the city and the lagoon system that surrounds it.

A few minutes’ walk from the hotel are the Olhão Markets, considered one of the city’s highlights, both due to the architecture of the buildings and the daily dynamics associated with the sale of fresh products.

The fish market, located in one of the wings, is one of the most visited in the Algarve, while the fruit and vegetable market, in the adjacent building, is particularly lively on Saturdays, with the presence of local producers outdoors.

Ria Formosa as a backdrop

It is also important to highlight that the city of Olhão is considered the capital of the Ria Formosa, a lagoon system that extends across several Algarve municipalities and which is often cited as one of the most relevant natural habitats in the region.

The proximity to islands and beaches with clear waters, as well as the possibility of walks along the riverfront, reinforces the city’s appeal as a destination for short or extended stays.
