Representatives from the City of , Enel and Sabesp decided to file a police report against the administrators of the Container Theater, in the central region of the capital, for possible theft of energy and water.
In compliance with a court order, employees of the Subprefecture of Sé discovered the absence of a water register and a light panel at the location. The suspicion is that the theater resorted to clandestine connections, the so-called “cats”.
The police report is being carried out in the 3rd Police District of the capital, in the Campos Elíseos neighborhood. The theater operated for around ten years in the Luz region.
The management () intends to use the land to build housing units and offered another location for the theater, in the central region. Equipment administrators say that the city hall did not guarantee sufficient resources for the change.
