Bombarded by reviews since its premiere, the film Code of Wingswhich marked Isis Valverde’s first appearance in a Hollywood production, ended up leading the actress to a less than honorable nomination in the United States. The Brazilian appears on the shortlist for the Golden Raspberry Awards, a traditional award that “celebrates” the worst works in world cinema.

The list of nominees was published on the specialized website World of Reel. Isis competes in the worst supporting actress category, alongside names like Anna Chlumsky, Gal Gadot, Eiza González and Amara Okereke. The official announcement of the “winners” is scheduled for March 14th.

Code of Wings premiered in Brazilian cinemas in March 2025. The film follows Joe (Scott Eastwood) and Lara (Willa Fitzgerald), two secret agents who try to live under the radar, but end up becoming the target of a violent manhunt during a trip.
The Brazilian actress’s participation in the film is relatively short: her character appears in just two scenes, totaling around 20 minutes in a film of approximately 90 minutes. Still, the performance did not go unnoticed by international critics, who pointed out flaws in the script and character development.
