The actor Henry Castelli had to leave the Big Brother Brasil 26 after suffering convulsive episodes within the reality show, on Wednesday (14/1). With that, he became only the second participant in the program’s history to be removed for health reasons.
Before Henri, the only similar case had occurred in BBB 5when Marielza Souza left the competition after suffering a ischemic stroke. At the time, aged 47, she fell ill while in the house’s hot tub.

On social media, internet users rescued the episode involving Marielza. The ex-brother Alan Passoswho also participated in the fifth edition, recalled that the initial care was provided by Rogério Padovandoctor and member of that year’s cast.
“Rogério Padovan, our Dr. Gê, doctor, was responsible for Marielza’s emergency care on BBB 5. She suffered a stroke while she was in the hot tub. It was total despair among the participants. The production asked us all to go into the house, and only Rogério stayed for the treatment along with the medical team. Fortunately, Marielza was fine, but did not return to the program”, reported Alan.
As in the case of Marielza, Henri Castelli’s departure was determined by medical guidanceprioritizing the health of the participant. Globo confirmed that the actor will continue to undergo medical monitoring outside of confinement.
