Osmar Joaquim Junior), 44 years old, died on Saturday (10/1) after being beaten by two childhood friends six days earlier, in the Jardim Modelo neighborhood, north of . The two suspects are brothers and were identified as Diego Silva Teles and Wagner Teles Junior.

According to what was obtained by MetropolisesOsmar went to the police the day after the attacks and said that he went to his brothers’ house to greet them, as they were childhood friends.
Upon arriving at the scene, the victim was received rudely, without understanding what could have led to that behavior, and was later informed that the suspects were angry because of a prank that took place in 2023. Osmar told authorities that he did not remember the action from three years ago.
Next, Diego and Wagner took the man out of the house and “suddenly” began to violently attack him, with punches and kicks. Osmar detailed the attacks on the police. He said he fell to the ground and, even so, he continued to be attacked, “in an animalistic attitude”. A witness who was passing by and neighbors in the region managed to intervene, removing the attackers from the scene.
Surgery scheduled
- Osmar suffered an injured leg and was supported by members of the public, before being taken to UPA Jaçanã.

Osmar died on Saturday (10/1) due to consecutive cardiorespiratory arrests. With the death of the victim, initially, the police added to the classification of the incident the investigation into suspicious death. However, on January 12th, he changed the nature of the crime to murder.
The witness interviewed by the report also said that One of the attackers returned to the city where he lives, in Maranhão. At the time of this publication, none of the brothers had been arrested.
