Operation against Master seizes cars worth R$ 16 million – 01/14/2026 – Brasília Hoje

During the new operation in the Master case carried out this Wednesday (14), the Federal Police seized R$ 645 thousand in cash and 23 vehicles valued at R$ 16 million.

The agents also collected 39 cell phones, 31 computers and 30 weapons. The data comes from a PF report on the second phase of Compliance Zero, which involved new addresses for the owner of Banco Master, .

The action involved 42 search and seizure warrants at addresses linked to Vorcaro, his relatives and business owners, in addition to kidnapping and blocking assets worth R$5.7 billion.

The minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) ordered that the seized material be forwarded to the (Attorney General’s Office), reconsidering a previous decision.

In this way, the rapporteur accepted the request of the attorney general, Paulo Gonet. Previously, Toffoli had defined the custody of the material in court.

The new phase of the operation targeted people allegedly involved in Master bank fraud through the use of investment funds.

These funds participated in a billion-dollar financial scheme to divert resources and purchase bad assets, such as so-called cards, share certificates from the extinct Besc (Bank of the State of Santa Catarina).

The scheme began with loans made by Master to companies. These companies invested in funds from the Reag management company, which until recently had João Carlos Mansur as president and founding partner, one of the targets of the PF operation this Wednesday.
