The Social Security Institute of the Municipality of Rio Branco (RBPrev) published a rectification, this Thursday (15), in the Official State Gazette (DOE), to confirm the readjustment of social security benefits paid to retirees and pensioners in the municipality. The correction sets an increase of 3.9%, with financial effects retroactive to January 1, 2026, aligning the values with the update applied by the INSS.

The rectification affects benefits calculated based on average contributions and resolves adjustments that had been disclosed in a previous ordinance. For those who had the benefit granted throughout 2025, the percentages vary depending on the month in which it began, ranging from 3.9% for older concessions to 0.21% for those starting in December.
The corrected text also updates the exemption limit for charging social security contributions, which is now R$8,475.55. From this amount, retirees and pensioners continue to contribute only the portion that exceeds the established ceiling.
