The long-awaited new Vasco uniform, sponsored by Nike, will be seen for the first time with the professional team this Thursday (15/01), against Maricá, for Carioca. The game takes place at 9:30 pm, in São Januário. Cruz-Maltino had already sponsored the American brand for the Copa São Paulo de Juniores.
O Vasco’s contract with Nike runs until December 2032.
This Thursday, the team and supplier released more details about the main shirt. The white diagonal stripe has graphics inspired by the movement of water, referring to the club’s nautical origins and sailing spirit. The uniform contains the geographic coordinates of São Januário – 22º 53′ 27.2″ S, 43º 13′ 41.9″ W.
Phillipe Coutinho, Rayan and player Mayara were among the models to promote the uniform.
The second shirt, white, will be launched in March.

How much will Nike pay Vasco?
In a fixed way, the Nike will pay R$35 million per season. However, the value can reach R$42 million per season, considering sales, targets and bonuses. At the end of the fifth year of the contract, in December 2030, the parties will be able to negotiate adjustments.
The financial difference in relation to the agreement that existed with Kappa, a former uniform supplier, is significant: the brand transferred R$600,000 annually, plus 13% royalties per item sold and R$300,000 allocated to marketing.
