BBB 26: Aline Campos talks to Ana Paula ‘you don’t even look me in the eye’

Dancer Aline Campos, 38, called journalist and former participant Ana Paula Renault, 44, to talk on Thursday night (15). In the dialogue, Aline stated that she felt ignored by the journalist during interactions at the house and decided to question her for her behavior.

“I always arrive in the group where you are, I try to interact and I feel that you look at me with a face…”, began Aline, explaining her discomfort.

Ana Paula immediately responded: “No, I never looked at you differently.”

Aline insisted, saying that she feels like she is not heard or included in conversations.

“When I enter the conversation to speak, I feel that you treat me as if I wasn’t there. I feel, yes, that you are being ignored. You don’t even look me in the eye when I’m in the group”, he stated.

Ana Paula explained that she tends to connect more quickly with some people, but denied any animosity.

“Generally, I interact with people that I feel a quick and direct connection to, but I don’t dislike you,” he said. At another point, he reinforced: “I have absolutely nothing against you. Nor for you.”

Even after the explanation, Aline said again that she felt resistance from the journalist.

“I feel like you have something against me and you don’t want to talk about it,” he said.

Ana Paula questioned whether her colleague didn’t understand the difference between empathy and connection.

“Don’t you understand this thing about having empathy or not? Connection or not?”, he asked.

Aline responded that she understands the lack of affinity, but wanted to make her discomfort explicit.

“I know that we don’t really have empathy, a connection. I just really wanted to make that clear,” he concluded.

Ana Paula’s comment

On Tuesday (13) Aline recalled an outfit she wore at an awards ceremony, when the journalist worked as a fashion commentator. According to the dancer, the speech would have been offensive.

“It was something like this: ‘She dresses, she looks like a luxury escort’. For me, that really offended me,” said Aline.

Ana Paula acknowledged the error and stated that the comment was inappropriate and sexist.

“It’s one thing for me to talk about your look, because your taste has nothing to do with mine. What I really can’t do is label you. You’re right,” he replied.

Still during the chat, Aline said that she gave the snake emoji to her sister on Queridometro. Ana Paula reacted ironically: “Okay, there are a lot of people for me to vote for before you”.
