The 2026 São Paulo Junior Football Cup begins its round of 16 this Friday (16).
The first classifieds for the quarterfinals of the Brazilian football base tournament will be defined. After the eight games in this phase, of the 128 teams that started the competition, only eight will remain.
The decision of the tournament, in celebration of the anniversary of the city of São Paulo, as is traditional.
In the round of 16, as in the previous two phases, the clashes continue to be eliminatory, in a single game.
Therefore, in the event of a draw in regular time, classification for the quarter-finals of the Copinha will be defined on penalties.
