I participated in a motorcade with my father and set off firecrackers in the street because of Santos”, revealed Gabriel Menino, who admitted that he has been a Santos fan since he was a child. In the interview, he said that when the possibility of coming to Santos arose, his heart spoke louder when it came to defining the future. “When I had the opportunity to come there was a lot of emotion because I know the weight of this shirt. Since I was a child I have dreamed of playing for Santos”, he commented.

Even without playing, Neymar was on the agenda at the press conference. Regarding the chance to share the pitch with the number 10, the reinforcement revealed his anxiety. “He’s the best player I’ve seen play. We haven’t trained together yet because he’s in the medical department, but I’m thinking about celebrating goals, providing assists and winning titles with him. It will be very special,” he declared.
