A man rescued two children who were alone on a busy road in Cocoa Beach, in the US state of Florida. The moment was captured by a drone company that was there filming properties.
John Brittingham was traveling on the A1A road when he saw two girls in the middle of the road, with cars passing at great speed. Father of five children, decided to immediately stop the car and take action. In the images you can see him running towards the children, removing them from the road one at a time, while signaling to drivers to slow down.
Speaking to ABC, John admitted to being very scared by the situation and the outcome it could have had. After ensuring the safety of the minors, the man looked for the family, discovering that they were staying in a nearby house.
According to the company Drone Geox LLC, which shared the video on social media, the children’s parents and grandparents had not noticed their absence, as the door to the house was open. The case ended with no injuries, but left a warning about the risks of distraction in residential areas close to busy roads.
