The jubilee 30th year of Mikulášské ples under the auspices of the mayor of Liptovský Mikuláš Ján Blcháč will bring a benefit raffle and an auction of rare pieces from the equipment of Petra Vlhová, from which the proceeds will go to the Endowment Fund of the Liptov Community Foundation (KNL) to support specific local projects. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the city, Romana Nemcová.
Items from the sports equipment of the Olympic champion and citizen of Liptovský Mikuláš Vlhová will be auctioned, such as signed helmet, ski poles and cap. “We will double the amount collected up to 5,000 euros, which will further increase the aid for local initiatives. Subsequently, we will announce a grant call in which citizens, civic associations and sports talents from Liptovské Mikuláš can participate,” said Miroslav Trepáč, a member of the Board of Directors of KNL.
The funds obtained will go directly to specific local projects that improve life in the city and its surroundings. The ball will take place on Saturday (January 17) at 7:00 p.m. in the House of Culture in Liptovský Mikuláš.
