“Vladimir Putin outlined his fundamental approaches to intensifying political and diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring stability and security in the region. It was agreed to maintain contacts at different levels”, the statement added.
At the same time, the director of the Israeli spy agency Mossad, David Barnea, arrived in the United States on Friday morning for a meeting in Miami with the White House special envoy, Steve Witkoff, for talks on the situation in Iran and possible American military action in response to the Tehran regime’s repression, people familiar with the matter told the Axios.

According to information, Barnea’s trip comes after a phone call on Wednesday (14) between American President Donald Trump and Netanyahu. At the time, the Israeli prime minister asked the Republican to postpone military action against Iran to give Israel more time to prepare for possible Iranian retaliation.
Witkoff is responsible for maintaining direct contact with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and it is not yet clear whether Barnea will meet with Trump at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend.
