The Federal Supreme Court (STF) reported that former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) has already been transferred to his cell in the 19th Military Police Battalion, Papudinha. He was serving a sentence at the Federal Police Superintendency (PF).
In the decision, Moraes highlighted that the transfer will allow for an increase in visiting hours (2h to 6h) and a greater number of daily meals (from 3 to 5). The room at Papudinha also has a larger area, measuring 64.8 m², with a bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, bedroom, living room and outdoor area. The room at PF is only 12 m², and accommodation is limited to a bedroom and bathroom.
The room is separate from the unit shared between the former Minister of Justice, Anderson Torres, and the former director of the Federal Highway Police (PRF), Silvinei Vasques, who were also convicted of an attempted coup d’état and are serving time in Papudinha. The cells are similar and both hold four people.
