Vienna – The Viennese pop musician Sofie Royer (34) has been honored with a “Music Moves Europe Award”. This is a European Union prize for the most exciting new artists on the continent. The prize, worth 10,000 euros, is intended to promote international careers. Royer has released three albums so far (Cult Survivor, Harlequin and Young-Girl Forever) and appeared as support for pop greats such as Lana Del Rey and Air.
