Cold front brings risk of storms and keeps the weather muggy in São Paulo this Saturday

The state will have variable cloudiness, heavy rain showers and the possibility of lightning, winds and hail; Civil Defense recommends attention

The instability is caused by the approach of a cold front, associated with humidity coming from the Amazon region.

The weather conditions this Saturday (17) favor a scenario of very variable cloud cover throughout the State ofwith some sunlight throughout the day, which maintains the feeling of heat and stuffiness.

According to the forecast, there is a risk of locally heavy rain showers, accompanied by lightning, gusts of wind and occasional hail. The instability is caused by the approach of a cold front, associated with humidity coming from the Amazon region.

Meteorological models indicate significant accumulations of rain in several areas of the state. As there is a possibility of isolated storms, the advice is to pay extra attention, especially in regions more vulnerable to flooding, falling trees and other disturbances.

In the capital of São Paulo, temperatures should vary between 19°C and 31°C. In Jaú, in the interior, the forecast points to a minimum of 19°C and a maximum of 29°C.
