Austrian bodybuilder Fabian Mayr announced his retirement from the stage this Friday (16).
Through a post on his official Instagram account, the former Classic Physique athlete said that “there is nothing left” for him to win in competitive sport.
The main title of Mayr’s career occurred in 2021, when he beat Ramon Rocha Queiroz, aka Dino, at the Europa Pro. At the time, the Acrian was making his debut in the IFBB Pro League.
At the Olympia, the most important bodybuilding championship in the world, his best placing came in 2022, when he came in seventh place.
In the text in which he announced his retirement from the sport, the Austrian highlighted that the decision was made out of “responsibility as a father, husband and businessman”.
