Facundo’s numbers for Palmeiras
Facundo arrived at Verdão last year from Orlando City, in an operation that cost around R$70 million. Despite being used extensively, the number 17’s performance was considered discreet by the fans:
-
Games: 61
-
Goals: 10
-
Assists: 4
Although coach Abel Ferreira has publicly expressed his desire to keep Facundo Torres and striker Sosa for the 2026 season, the Alviverde board may change its mind given the values presented by the Texan club.
At the moment, the player has not yet taken the field this year, as he is recovering from a left thigh injury suffered during pre-season training.
Palmeiras agreed to sell striker Facundo Torres to Austin FC, from MLS, for the exact amount of 10 million dollars. The deal is close to being finalized, as the clubs have already exchanged documents.
