Light that will illuminate the interior

Light has always had a practical function, illuminating the space, but in recent years we have been increasingly using it to create atmosphere and mood. The TVÅMASTAD portable LED lamp, inspired by the delicate form of lily of the valley flowers, brings a soft glow and a subtle decorative accent to the interior. Thanks to battery power, it easily changes places, creating a cozy atmosphere in different parts of the house. The SKIVTOFS model with a ceramic lampshade combines craftsmanship with a simple form. Suspended above a table, kitchen island or in a reading corner, it creates a calm, timeless atmosphere in which the functional function naturally combines with the decorative one.

“SKIVTOFS is my first project for IKEA, so it has a special meaning for me. The idea was born from the inspiration of a ‘cobbler’s lamp’, as we call it in Sweden, which has a working form with a metal shade. To create its contemporary, elegant and subtle version, we used ceramics.” – says Matilda Lindstam Nilsson, IKEA designer. The SANDKORN lampshade completes the whole with a soft, organic form in which the light penetrates gently through the hand-woven structure.

“Vintage lamps with floral patterns have a timeless charm that I wanted to reflect in the shade of the SANDKORN hanging lamp. The hand-woven petals seem to move delicately and have a harmony that we often find in natural materials and shapes inspired by nature.” – says Akanksha Deo, IKEA designer.

Comfort in every detail

Soft textiles can warm up the interior and give it a relaxing character. Blue patterns inspired by bird and delicate flower motifs bring peace and a slightly nostalgic, homely atmosphere to the space. The BITTERSÖTA duvet cover is a distinctive accent in the bedroom, and the KRUTBRÄNNARE line allows you to build a coherent arrangement thanks to perfect coordination. The latest IKEA collection includes pillowcases with bird and plant motifs, a more subdued striped version and a blanket in the same color and style, which makes it easier to combine patterns into a harmonious whole.

For people who prefer a softer color palette, pastel DAGGSALVIA bedding combined with FJUNKLOCKA pillowcases will be a good choice. The subtle floral pattern brings lightness and freshness to the interior, offering an alternative to more expressive blue motifs.

Your new favorite accessories

Do you prefer coffee or tea? The taste of everyday drinks increases when they are accompanied by items that bring order and peace to moments at the table. The SILVERSIDA mug made of stoneware, with an irregular blue pattern, adds a casual, homely character to the arrangement and fits naturally into mornings and short breaks during the day. HAVSGÅDDA glass plates and bowls in shades of pink, gray and transparent bring lightness thanks to their delicate, grooved structure. The complement is PELARKAKTUS stoneware plates and bowls in deep green, which organize the whole and give it a balanced, natural tone. Together they create a set of accessories that promote mindful moments and a calmer pace of daily rituals.

A corner that invites you to rest

In your home space, it is worth having a place that allows you to slow down after an intense day. All you need is an armchair with a footrest and a few well-chosen details to create a corner conducive to relaxation. New covers for the STRANDMON armchair and footstool in the Ribersborg variant, in shades of dark gray and beige, allow you to refresh the furniture and give it a new, relaxing character. The chair naturally becomes the center of the regeneration zone, regardless of where it is located. The whole is complemented by an oval DAGGKAPRIFOL mirror, which illuminates the interior and adds charm to it. The decorative edge and yellow frame in the form of a delicate ruffle introduce a subtle accent of color, enlivening the space without disturbing its harmony. All new products have a common thought – home as a place that supports the daily rhythm and allows you to slow down. Soft light, pleasantly textured textiles and small accessories create a coherent whole where function meets mood. These are solutions that discreetly organize the space and promote moments of rest, without the need to make major changes.
