SÃO PAULO, 16 Jan (Reuters) – Banco Inter (BDR: ), controlled by the holding company Inter&Co, announced this Friday that it has received approvals from the Florida Office of Financial Regulation (OFR) and the Federal Reserve to establish an international agency in Florida, in the United States.
‘In practice, from now on, Inter will act as a bank for international clients in any part of the world, from its branch in the United States, marking a relevant advance in its international expansion strategy,’ the bank stated in a press release.
According to the group, the authorization makes it possible to open an agency in Miami, the city where Inter has maintained its global headquarters since 2021.

‘This step reinforces our ambition to act as a global platform,’ said João Vitor Menin, global executive president of Inter&Co, in the statement.
